A portion of Kings Highway East is being re-surfaced today.

According to T&M Associates, Middletown, a the section of Kings Highway, from the intersection of Route 35 North until Heritage Drive is being re-surfaced.

David Marks, the supervising engineer, said the length of the road being worked on is about 3,400 ft.

"Weather permitting the work will be completed by this evening," he said. "We took care of the pavement work before this and made sure that curve to the ramp is ADA compliant."

The Middletown Township Police Department is directing traffic around the roadwork.
