Dynamic All-Star Cheer and Dance of Keansburg would like to announce the addition of (Team Shining Stars) to their organization.
Team Shining Stars a special needs cheerleading squad welcoming both girls and boys of Monmouth County. Aspiring Cheerleaders with physical and cognitive disabilities can now experience a sport that typically would be challenging, and not readily available to those with a disadvantage.
The program's purpose is to give athletes with special needs an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading. During the course of the program additional goals are accomplished such as increasing self-esteem and establishing appropriate behavior.
Class will be held every Saturday, 1:00 - 2:00 starting in October. All staff members and volunteers are certified and experienced.
