Middletown (Monmouth County, NJ) - Food Circus Super Markets, Inc., t/a Super Foodtown, owned and operated by the Azzolina and Scaduto families and the Board of Directors, has named Louis J. Scaduto, Jr. as President of the company. Mr. Scaduto succeeds the late Joe Azzolina, Sr. who in addition to being President of the company was a Naval Captain (ret.) and New Jersey State Senator and Legislator for 25 years.
For the past few years, Mr. Scaduto has served as the company's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer overseeing all aspects of the retail operation. He has worked for the company since the age of 14 learning the family business through hands on experience at store level working in every department in the Foodtown stores. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management & Marketing from Monmouth University, over the years, Lou became more involved with financial oversight and planning for the business.

Food Circus Super Markets, Inc. currently operates ten Super Foodtown stores in Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean counties employing over 1,400 employees.
