Highlands - Chilango's Restaurant, the Mexican restaurant at the intersection of Seadrift and Bay avenues, is donating 10 percent of every bill between 7 and 9 p.m. May 4 to the Anna Little for Congress campaign.
In addition to the 10 per cent donation, the restaurant is offered a $3 Margarita drink special to celebrate the borough Mayor's candidacy for the Republican nomination to oppose Democrat Congressman Frank Pallone for the 6th District in the June primary.
The restaurant's fund raising event came in the wake of Mayor Little's support of federal regulations covering legal aliens and the Arizona fracas over that state's governor signing a bill to enforce the federal legislation.
An attorney who specializes in immigration law and is fluent in Spanish and familiar with several other languages, Mayor Little appreciates everyone's desire to live in America but firmly believes that those who follow laws to enter the country should receive consideration before those who break the law to get here.
