Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar restaurants in Northern and Central New Jersey will show their patriotism this Independence Day by offering “free meals for kids.” All day, Sunday, July 4, children ages 12 and under.
Middletown (Monmouth County, NJ) - This Independence Day, Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar located at 1183 Route 35 in Middletown will show its patriotism by offering "free meals for kids." Families who dine at Applebee's anytime on Sunday, July 4 will receive up to two free Kids' Meals with each adult entrée purchase. The free meals are valid for children ages 12 and under, on any Applebee's "Kids' Menu" entrée, dine-in only.

"Whether you join us for lunch after your town parade or on your way to or from fireworks, come celebrate America's birthday at America's favorite neighborhood restaurant," said Robert Phillips, General Manager of Applebee's in Middletown. "Like any night, we're open to midnight or later."

While the kids enjoy lunch or dinner from the Kids' Menu, adults may want to try one of Applebee's new Realburgers from Across America.

"We've captured some of the best flavors in America in these new burgers; they're fresh, neighborhood-inspired recipes that are so good neighborhoods put their names on them," said Shannon Johnson, CEC, executive chef, who oversees development of new Realburgers and all menu items at Applebee's. "These burgers taste like America: big and unique."

The new Realburgers from Across America lineup includes:

Philly Burger – Applebee's interpretation of a sandwich so bold it represents a city. Crowned with fresh, sautéed onions, peppers and mushrooms, it's topped with a rich, aged white cheddar cheese sauce and served "Philly Style" on a toasted hoagie roll.

Southwest Jalapeno Burger – Inspired by the high desert of the southwest where chili peppers abound, this burger warms things up with a masterful combination of ingredients: habanero-jack cheese, tangy chipotle mayo and unique candied jalapeno peppers.

Cowboy Burger – Topped with Applebee's hand-breaded crispy onion strings, applewood-smoked bacon and Applebee's zesty barbecue sauce for a wild west, down-home kick.

To locate the Applebee's restaurant nearest you or for more information, visit applebees.com. The "free meals for kids" offer is valid on Sunday, July 4 and is only available at participating Applebee's restaurants in northern and central New Jersey.
