The Middletown Elks Lodge No. 2179 will hold its 6th annual "Run for the Kids" Poker Run on Sunday, August 3.
Sign-up for the motorcycle run will start at 9 a.m. in the Middletown lodge, on Church Street in Belford.
The cost is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger.
The riders will travel through Middletown, Old Bridge, Freehold and Long Branch, ending back at the lodge in Belford.
There will be food, refreshments and music following the run.
The drawing for a 2008 Harley Davidson bike will also take place during the event, rain or shine.
The Elks are raising money for the Special Children Committee, a group of members who fundraise and orchestrate projects for handicapped children in the community.
Recently, the Middletown Elks dedicated a wheelchair swing at Croydon Hall, on Leonardville Road.
Handicapped children can use the swing so they can play in the park, just like other children.
Pre-registration is not required for the motorcycle run.
