RED BANK – CPC Behavioral Healthcare and Prevention First will present Christopher Kennedy Lawford on Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Two River Theater in Red Bank for an evening of awareness, self-discovery and communication.

Geared toward parents and teens, the goal of this event is to strengthen the parent-child relationship by opening up the lines of communication through shared experiences, dialog and awareness.

Christopher Kennedy Lawford, actor, motivator and author of “Symptoms of Withdrawal,” will speak about his real life experiences that led to his path of self discovery, personal growth and courage.

Lawford’s message is about attitude, choices and the strength each person has within themselves to choose the better life. “My story is one of survival and redemption. It is about asking questions, searching for the truth and finding the courage to be honest no matter the consequences.”

Born into the Kennedy dynasty, Lawford was destined to achieve success in the glamorous worlds of Hollywood and Washington. Despite a successful film and television career and extensive political action, he battled with drug and alcohol addiction for many years. Sober for over 18 years, he is dedicated to helping others transform their lives.

Lawford motivates and inspires individuals to take on the challenges that we all face in daily life. “Each person is given the same amount of time in a day to face what life brings them. Some struggle with and focus on the problems and obstacles. Some just live in the moment. Others focus on the opportunities and think past the struggles and obstacles that face them daily,” says Lawford.

His message is simple: “When we allow our imagination and our realistic possibilities to soar, we can confidently leap over some of the most overwhelming hurdles that life throws at us.”

The registration fee is $25 for adults and $15 for teens. A special VIP reception will be held after the presentation at the theater.

Tickets for the VIP Reception with Lawford are $75 per person and limited to 100 VIPs. To register by phone, please call 732-935-2222, or fax/mail the registration form available at www.cpcbehavioral.org
